A valid and active account may be reset by using this option; it emails you a randomly generated password. To protect your privacy, passwords are not stored on this system, instead only a digest key is kept. If you do not receive the temporary password within few minutes after it was issued, your email provider may be blocking that automated message.
Note that temporary passwords expire within 24 hours and should be changed by users as soon as they are received. |
