Note that editing of any forms on this Website (creating and editing profiles, editing on-line applications, etc.) requires you to have a member account. If you do not have one, it is easy to establish it - click the Sign-on button in the top-right corner of this page an then click "New...". You will be asked to provide your full name, phone number and email address. The email address will then serve as your user ID on forms; a temporary password will be sent to that address.
The Job Applications form is similar to the CV/Profile but has some important differences in its purpose and functionality. One important functional difference is the immediate submission of the application for review; the consequence of this is an inability to replace the entire contents of the job application (whatever you post immediately becomes available to the reviewers without the possibility of retraction; the only part that may be replaced is the attached MS Word document). — One should view all the messages sent by you towards a particular job announcement as parts of a single application in which the earlier-submitted messages can not be replaced.
The attachment however, which is usually the CV, is replaceable (and from the applicant's perspective that single file is visible within all messages associated with a particular job announcement).
Even though we allow for multiple messages to be submitted in reply to a single ad please use this feature judiciously and only when it is absolutely necessary to annotate further the previously sent message — although the Reviewer's interface has means of managing multiple messages as one group, receiving identical content several times may be perceived as annoyance.
Of the fields on the job application form only the "Other Notes" field is optional.
The form allows attachment of a single MS Word document file (.DOC). One may upload the file (usually the CV or combined Cover Letter and CV) by clicking the button "upload/replace attachment". Subsequent uploads of the file to the server replace the earlier copy (your filename is replaced with a system key, therefore it doesn't matter what you name the attachment, only one — the most recent copy is kept. There is no need to resubmit the entire form when replacing the attachment - the attachment upload is independent from the rest of the form.
